We will be happy to offer internship at Absolute Interperting and Translations Ltd on the following terms:

 

We are willing to offer a minimum 3 to 6 months internship in our Birmingham office on the following conditions:  

As we are an extremely busy office providing interpreting and translation services on a regular basis to our clients from Central Government, Courts, Police, National Health Services and other public and private sector organisations, as such when doing your half time admin work for the Company, at times you will be working under pressure and your duties will include the following, so we would expect you to make an informed decision:

 

1-           Translate new translation projects, proofread other translators translations and translate Absolute website every day for 2 hours, once the translation of website is completed we will get the translations proofread and provide you with our translators feedback.

2-           Carry out translation and interpreting related researches and write related articles, all of which will be proofread by a proof reader and then translated by you and then uploaded on the Company’s website with a reference to your name.

3-           Take interpreting and translation booking requests from our clients i.e. National Health Service, Local Authorities, Social Services and Solicitors

4-           Providing administrative support to other members of staff

5-           Answer telephone calls

6-           Book interpreters, deal with interpreters booking queries and also provide telephone interpreting and face to face interpreting service as and when needed

7-           Manage Translation Projects i.e. deal with translators and clients from the start to completion of translations

 

If the above terms are acceptable to you then please send us the following documents by return:

 

  1. Your proof of ID i.e. a scanned copy of your Passport
  2. Your proof of address i.e. utility bills or bank statement
  3. Two professional and character references i.e. ideally one from the sending organisation and second from another company if you have done internship previously.
  4. A letter confirming your internship from the sending organisation or institution
